KL TIGERS U18 ACADEMY SQUAD END 2019 WITH A POSITIVE SHOWING IN FRIENDLIES SERIES
December, 2019
Preparing our Academy players for the adult 15 a-side game became a priority for this past year. With so many of this current crop of players having started their rugby with tigers as 4-8 year olds, they have grown up playing 10 a-side rugby. The transition to 15's as a core format for the Academy has been a challenge welcomed by these young players. The new roles and organisation have been adopted well by all our players and their new skills and understanding of the game was tested in a series of end of year friendlies. 5 players will start the new year as tigers seniors players and we will be watching their progress with interest.

KL TIGERS VETERANS RENEW AMBITIONS IN 2020
July 18th, 2020
Over the past 4 years our past legends of the game have been playing and touring and enjoying the game in a more social manner. 2020 started with a new midweek training session that has renewed the ambitions of the section. Show up and play may have been acceptable in the past but now our past warriors are looking for something extra from their endeavours. Midweek training has been followed up with a Saturday coached session and our numbers are growing nicely. Apart from some extra fitness training our Veterans are now adapting to a playing style better suited for those 40 years and over! Watch out for the KL Tigers Veterans at the next tour event, you may be surprised by what you see!
U9-U18 JUNIORS, LADIES, MENS & VETERANS NOW TRAINING ON SATURDAYS AT OASIS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

KL Tigers has returned to training using the new SOP's from the ministry of sport. For now we are limiting Juniors training for U9's upwards while we await an update to the guidelines after the RMCO ends on the 31st of August. These past few weeks have been great, seeing nearly the whole club train in stages from 8.30am to 2.30pm and really shows our depth as a club. It's a success for our volunteer force who have learnt new skills and put in place best practice SOP's to keep everyone safe whilst delivering meaningful training sessions for all the players taking part.
